Editing Daily Log Entries
This page explains how to edit your daily log entries in PepTrac, including what you can change and what to expect in the app.
How to Edit an Entry
To edit an entry, start from the Daily Logs View. Tap any log entry row to open its detail view. In the detail view, tap the Edit button. This opens the entry form, pre-filled with all the details you previously logged.
What You Can Change
You can update any field in the entry:
You can change the label (for example, switch from “Morning” to “After Shot” or enter a new custom label). Adjust the date and time if you need to correct when the entry was made. Update any metric values, symptoms, or notes. All enabled metrics and symptoms appear, just like when creating a new entry. Add new information or remove details you no longer want to track for that entry.
Saving Changes
After making your edits, tap Save. Your changes are saved immediately, and you’ll return to the entry’s detail view. The updated information will appear in your Daily Logs list and calendar.
If you decide not to make changes, you can cancel or close the form to leave the entry unchanged.
Tips and Warnings
You can edit any entry at any time—there’s no limit to how often you can update your logs. If you remove all values for a metric or symptom, it will no longer appear for that entry. If you try to save without a label or date, the app will prompt you to complete those fields. Deleting an entry is permanent, but editing is always reversible by making further changes.
