Editing Shots
PepTrac makes it easy to update any shot—whether it’s scheduled for the future, already completed, missed, or skipped—so your records always reflect what actually happened or what you plan to do. You can edit any shot at any time: correct a dose, change the time, update the injection site, or add notes. Editing is available for all shots, regardless of their status or timing.
How to Edit a Shot
Tap any shot in the Shots list or calendar to open the Shot Details screen. From there, tap Edit Shot to open the edit form.
What You Can Edit
The edit form allows you to change any of the following:
- Protocol and Peptide: Change the protocol or peptide, as long as the peptide is part of the selected protocol.
- Status: Switch between Completed, Missed, Scheduled, or Skipped. The form adapts to your choice, updating which fields are required.
- Date and Time: Adjust the scheduled or actual date and time for the shot.
- Dosage: Update the amount and unit. If your protocol has dosage templates, you can select a template or enter a custom value.
- Injection Site: If injection site rotation is enabled, you can select or update the site for this shot.
- Reminders: Add, update, or remove a reminder for this shot. If you change the scheduled time, you can also adjust when the reminder should fire.
- Notes: Add or edit any notes for your own reference.
Restrictions and Safeguards
- You cannot schedule a shot in the past (for “Scheduled” status).
- All required fields must be filled out before saving.
- If you change the status to “Missed” or “Skipped,” the original scheduled time is preserved.
- Editing a shot does not affect your protocol’s schedule or other shots.
- If you edit a shot that had a reminder, the old reminder is removed and a new one is created if needed.
Saving or Canceling Edits
When you’re done making changes, tap “Update” to apply your edits. The shot will be updated, and you’ll return to the detail view or shots list. If you decide not to make changes, tap “Cancel” or close the form to discard your edits.
