Cartridge Calculator
The Cartridge Calculator determines peptide concentrations and dosing requirements for single peptides or multi-peptide blends.
Overview
Access the calculator through Settings → Tools & Calculators → Cartridge Calculator. The tool calculates precise peptide concentrations for any reconstitution volume, determines exact dosing based on desired amounts, creates reference tables for different unit counts, and allows you to save calculations for future use.
Basic Setup
Enter a cartridge name to organize your calculations. Use descriptive names like "Morning Blend" or "Protocol A - Week 1" to help identify saved calculations later.
Peptide Configuration
Add peptides to your cartridge in two ways. You can copy from an existing protocol by tapping "Copy from Protocol" and selecting a protocol to automatically populate the peptide list, then modify amounts as needed. Alternatively, add peptides manually by tapping "Add Peptide," choosing from the database, entering the amount per vial in mg, and specifying the number of vials. You can configure up to 6 peptides per cartridge.
Cartridge Settings
Enter your reconstitution volume (typically 3.0 mL). The calculator automatically determines units per cartridge at 100 units per mL.
Dose Calculator
For single-peptide cartridges, enter your desired dose amount, select the unit (mg, mcg, or IU), and view the calculated units needed along with the actual dose delivered and volume per dose.
For multi-peptide cartridges, select which peptide to calculate for, enter the desired dose for that specific peptide, and view per-peptide doses for the calculated unit count to understand the total blend composition per dose.
The calculator displays the peptide concentration per unit, exact units needed for your desired dose, precise amount delivered, total injection volume, and number of doses available per cartridge.
Quick Reference Table
The calculator generates a reference table showing unit counts from 1 to 60, total dose for each unit count, and individual peptide amounts for multi-peptide blends in a scrollable format for easy lookup during administration.
Advanced Features
Multi-Peptide Calculations
When working with peptide blends, each peptide maintains its individual properties. The calculator shows per-peptide doses for any unit count, accounts for total peptide mass in concentration calculations, and supports individual vial counts for complex formulations.
Saved Calculations
Complete your peptide configuration, tap "Save Calculation," and enter a descriptive name. The calculation is stored for future reference. Tap "View Saved Calculations" to see all saved configurations, load previous calculations instantly, modify and re-save updated versions, and organize by naming convention.
Export & Sharing
Export screenshots to generate high-quality images of complete calculations including all configuration details and reference tables. Files are automatically named with date and calculation name for sharing via any app or saving to photos. Export content in text format for easy reading and sharing, perfect for healthcare provider communication with generation timestamps included.
Calculation Examples
Single Peptide Example
Configuration: Semaglutide, 10.0 mg per vial, 1 vial, 3.0 mL reconstitution
Results: 3.33 mg/mL concentration, 0.033 mg (33 mcg) per unit. For a 0.25 mg dose, 7 units are needed, delivering an actual dose of 0.231 mg.
Multi-Peptide Blend Example
Configuration: Peptide A (5.0 mg, 1 vial), Peptide B (2.0 mg, 1 vial), Peptide C (10.0 mg, 2 vials), totaling 27.0 mg in 3.0 mL reconstitution
Results: 9.0 mg/mL total concentration, 0.09 mg total peptide per unit. For 10 units: Peptide A (0.17 mg), Peptide B (0.07 mg), Peptide C (0.67 mg)
Using Your Calculations
Once you've configured your cartridge calculation, the tool provides several ways to use the results:
Quick Reference Table: Scroll through unit counts to find your desired dose. The table shows exactly how much of each peptide you'll get for any number of units.
Dose Calculator: Enter a specific peptide amount to see how many units you need. The calculator shows the actual dose delivered and injection volume.
Save for Later: Save calculations with descriptive names so you can quickly load them for future cartridges with the same peptide blend.
Export Results: Generate screenshots or text summaries of your calculations for reference during preparation or sharing with your healthcare team.
Limitations
The calculator supports up to 6 peptides per cartridge. Results assume uniform mixing and are estimates that should be verified independently.
